Just about... When legislation passed making cannabis legal in New York one of the provisions was that it would be legal to grow 18 months after the first commercial sale was made so that there would be time to create regulations. The first sale was made on December 29th, 2022. Making July of this year the first month that consumers can legally grow in their own homes! ...with regulations of course.
The basic Guidelines from the Office of Cannabis Management specify that adults 21 years and older may grow up to 6 plants for personal use. 3 mature and 3 immature plants, with a maximum of 12 plants per household.
It's also legal to grow as a registered medical patient or caregiver. A patient can grow 3 and 3 as above, but a caregiver can grow for up to 4 patients, and no more than 12 plants.
It's the perfect setup for the In-home growth of Medical Marijuana.
a patient can choose the strain that is most effective for them or their condition and they know exactly under what conditions it is being grown, so no danger of foreign contaminants. It is always available and on hand. And if mobility is an issue remember our services include weekly maintenance of your garden.
Very likely! Some certainly do, but which ones? If growing is your business you will take advantage of whatever will increase your yield. And if you are growing in soil pesticides may be necessary. The latest controversy is over cannabis grown using PGRs or "Plant Growth Regulators." with many writers questioning its effects on consumers.
Growing at home means no chemicals... just water and nutrients. You know exactly what you're consuming and how it was raised.
Don't like to smoke but you want to enjoy the benefits of homegrown cannabis? That's not a problem anymore. Companies like Arizer make vaporizers that work great with dry cannabis, so no smoke only vapor. And if you enjoy edibles infusing butter/oils is fairly easy to do. Which you then use in a recipe. But even easier are the "Herbal infusers" from companies like LEVO, that do it all, from rendering the oil to making gummies. And again you can be confident everything is all natural with no surprise chemicals.
What Kind would you like to grow? while it's true that depending on the amount of space you have some strains won't do quite as well indoors, growers have been doing this indoors for many years so many many more strains do quite well, and you can choose seeds with just the balance of THC or CBD you are looking for. Indica strains do better indoors generally but there are Sativa varieties that do very well also. The choices are wide open these days.
No, not really. Gone are the days when giant, grow lights could make your electric meter spin and raise the temperature in your home. The new OLED lights are much more efficient producing very bright light with very little heat.
It can be but it's easily dealt with. The plants can become smelly mostly when they are flowering, but the available filters and ionizers are quite effective in eliminating odor from the surrounding areas.
None really! Just about any plant, fruit, vegetable or flower can be grown hydroponically and they are grown that way commercially around the world.
Cannabis is newly legal and lends itself particularly well to hydroponic growth. We think the cannabis growers will be the most motivated customers, but we would be happy to design a system to grow whatever it is that you'd like... to grow.
.It certainly can. Hydroponic gardening can be done outside or on a sun porch. But part of winter is the days getting shorter and that is a signal to plants to bring their cycle to an end because winter is coming. So to grow year-round and provide enough light for strong flowering the lighting needs to be at least enhanced with electric grow lights.
No, at its root it is very simple or we can do it for you.
